Terms & Conditions

Last updated:

These terms apply to your use of this website, which is run by Andres Garcia (“I”, “me”). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

What this site is

This is my personal portfolio and blog about building AI systems that are reliable and secure. The projects, write-ups, code samples and examples are published as guides to learn from. They show how I approach a problem; they are not finished products, and they are not professional advice.

Use code and examples at your own risk

If you copy, adapt or deploy any code, configuration, prompt or technique from this site, you do so at your own risk. You are responsible for reading it, testing it and securing it before you use it, especially in production, and for following the licences of the tools it depends on.

AI, security and infrastructure work can cause real damage: data loss, unexpected cloud or API bills, outages, security incidents. Everything here is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty that it is correct, secure, complete or fit for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any loss or damage of any kind that results from using this website, its content, or any code, configuration or advice taken from it. That includes direct and indirect loss, lost data, lost revenue, cloud and API costs, downtime and security incidents.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

No professional advice

Nothing on this site is legal, security, financial or other professional advice. If we work together, that work is covered by its own written agreement, not by these terms.

Acceptable use

You may use this website for lawful purposes only. Do not misuse it, interfere with how it works, or use the contact form to send spam, abuse or anything unlawful.

Intellectual property

Unless a post or repository says otherwise, the text, images and design on this site are mine and may not be republished without my permission. Code published in a repository follows the licence in that repository. Names, logos and trademarks of third-party tools belong to their owners.

Links to other sites

This site links to other sites, such as GitHub and LinkedIn. I do not control them and am not responsible for their content or their handling of your data.

Availability

The website is provided “as is” and “as available”. I do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, secure or free of errors, and I may change or remove content at any time.

Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows the latest revision, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes go to the competent court in Amsterdam, unless mandatory consumer-protection law gives you the right to go to another court.

Contact

If you have questions about these terms, send a message through the contact form on this website.
